Our Philosophy

People and Attitudes

1

Know your customer.

2

A great deal is possible when people speak to one another.

3

We don’t have that “whatever, and after us, the deluge” attitude.

4

Nothing can replace a visual inspection.

5

We can count on each other.

In the age of AI, it may seem outdated to try to score points by emphasizing what makes us human. Nor are we claiming that AI has no value for us.

But let’s be honest:

Who hasn’t wanted to throw their cell phone out the window because, when calling the package delivery service, they end up talking to a chatbot instead of a real person—one that just refers them to the FAQs and doesn’t understand their question?

Who hasn’t wanted to bite the phone receiver at some point when the automated messages from so-called “service providers” talk your ear off for 5 minutes and you have to say “1, 2, 3”—and then a whole bunch more—just to get transferred?

Who doesn’t roll their eyes when “Nils, the digital assistant” answers the phone and tries to come across as friendly, but doesn’t understand what a tire change is?

Who would seriously want to get a call from “Lena,” the chatbot of a major internet giant, just to get completely impartial advice from her as a business customer?

And sorry, Sparkasse, nobody really wants to chat with Linda either. You’re trying to force it on us, but we actually want to talk to our advisor. Or our female advisor. But why should Sparkasse—and many others—care what their customers want?

Digital is the best choice!?

Redhead GmbH was founded in October 2015 and specialises in services for commercial property.

Here's a promise

As long as Redhead is my company, real people will answer the phone here. We make mistakes; we don’t know everything; our moods fluctuate; sometimes we haven’t slept well or got up on the wrong side of the bed. Sometimes we’re out on a job site or in meetings and can’t be reached right away. I’ll admit it.

But you can ask us any question without having to listen to a list of numbers first, and the answer won’t be, “I didn’t understand that.”

The answer will either be one that addresses your question. Or it will be: ‘I don’t know off the top of my head. But I’ll look into it and get back to you.’ Or it will be: ‘I don’t know that myself, but I know someone who does. I’ll get back to you.’

If you want to work with people, you’ve come to the right place. If you want to leave everything to machines, you’ve come to the wrong place. Shall we get together!?
